Communicable diseases and the health poverty trap are the two biggest factors setting developing countries back when it comes to major economic change. The costs of fighting these diseases are recouped in less than a few months through rising incomes, better education and living standards. The AMANI Fund is focused primarily on disease prevention (For instance, the purchase of Insecticide-treated nets at affordable prices) and reach those who can't afford to protect themselves. We start our journey in 2023 by focusing on the most vulnerable regions first.
Our goal of disease prevention can only be achieved by partnering with reliable local organisations that deliver effective and timely change. Before we partner with them, the AMANI Fund will demand their reports and information on donation distribution, in some cases visiting the region to make sure donations go to where they're needed.
